Hi Matt and welcome to the forum :)
Thanks for letting me know about this error - seems you're not the only one (although I am able to change my profile/avatar etc logged in as myself and also in my test account that i've created so am not sure what's going on).
I can only think that it's because i have vbulletin version 3.8 but the template that i've got is not uptodate for version 3.8. I'm waiting for them to update it. In the meantime i've looked around (for hours!) for another template that i like, whether free or payable, but can't find one - i'm very picky!
In the short term if you're still getting the error maybe try going to the bottom of the screen and on the left hand side click on the arrow next to 'solido' and select the 'red bar' style. This will take you to the default version of the forum and it should be possible to change settings etc without any errors. You can always change it back to 'solido' afterwards if you prefer.
I'll carry on looking around for a fix or anothe template that i like. Hope this is ok in the meantime though. If you have any questions or further problems please let me know.
Regarding the attachments - I have changed the settings now so it should be ok to upload attachments to the forum with no problem. If this isn't the case let me know. Vbulletin is a little more complex than i gave it credit for! lol

It's been happening to me too - sometimes even when I just go to view the forum. It's incredibly irritating, but I find if I press stop quickly enough I don't get redirected to the page.

Oh that IS irritating. Maybe try the 'default' template at the bottom of the screen and see if this is any better. I know the template itself isn't as good but it may be a good temporary fix until i sort this out here. Sorry about that

Is anyone else having this problem? I've spoken with a couple of people in the UK and they don't seem to be having this problem and it's just occurred to me that you are both from Australia... i don't know how that could make any difference but wonder if it somehow has anything to do with the settings?
Could others let me know if they're getting the same error message?
Thanks

I had it again viewing the index of a particular forum, but it happened only once, and seems good now. Its really random. Perhaps it is an Aussie thing? lol that would be weird, I doubt it. I do have my timezone settings to +10 though, perhaps that could be an issue? stange bug though.

Yeah that would be a strange bug huh. It must be because the template isn't compatible with vbulletin 3.8.. have you tried changing to the 'red bar' template? Does that solve the error message?
I am on the case, honest.. just bear with me! Sorry :grouphug:

I've decided to change the default style as more and more people are having errors.... for those who haven't had errors it is still possible to change the template at the bottom of the screen to 'solido' and go back to the nicer red and blue one, but for now the default template will be this blue one. Sorry everyone x
