WOW I'm such an idiot!!!!! lol
Really sorry but a few months ago there was a real influx in spammers registering on the forum, so I changed the settings behind the scenes to make sure that they wouldn't be able to send private messages/post threads on the forum before I manually approved their accounts.
However it seems I had not quite understood how things worked and to cut a long story short it seems a lot of new members had to either wait a LONG time to get approved or (even worse!?) their accounts were deleted by accident!!!!
And to make things even worse (!!) I hadn't even set up my email forwarder correctly so if anyone has emailed me I wasn't even getting it and therefore not responding! I've just worked all this out and gone through all the emails and replied to as many as I can.. but please please can you accept my apology for being totally stupid on all accounts here and give me a(nother) chance please! Please don't let this put you off joining/rejoining the forum.. i'm not always this technically-challenged
