Hey there everyone.

I am Jenny and I am a trainee counseller!

I am at a loss as to what to do with regards to courses/diplomas etc. Where is best to go and which route to take so if anyone could help me, I would be most grateful.

Abit of background info: I am 21 years old, just finished university studying a Sociology degree. I am currently participating in an intermediate counselling course at my local college.

What would be the correct route for me to become a qualified counseller?

Welcome to the forum.. :welcome:

Good to hear that you're interested in counselling.. When I was studying counselling I did the 'Level 1 and 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills' then dropped out before progressing to the Level 3. However I believe these types of courses are good paths in to counselling, giving you an idea of what it's all about etc.

Hmm maybe I'll also leave others to give advice as I didn't go any further than level 3!
