I really, really cannot believe what's going on in London at the moment.. it's just beyond my understanding. What is wrong with these people? They are purposefully hurting innocent people, burning down buildings, stealing.. argh, what is wrong with them?? And why is everyone questioning the police asking whether they are doing all they can etc. Of course they are.. they're under enormous strain and are doing all they can to calm these riots!? They are at risk from these thugs too.

Reminds me of the riots here during the '60s. Very surprised to see it happening in London! Guess there are thugs everywhere!

I'm not sure even the rioters know, Indie! It started with a peaceful protest because a man was shot by police... and now, 4 days later, thugs are still going round burning buildings, looting shops, injuring police/firefighters/ambulance staff, etc. It's spread to other cities now too.

Seems people are saying they're not happy with the present government (I agree!) and the situation the UK is in economically etc. Not quite sure it merits putting innocent lives at risk but as my mum's partner said, sometimes riots happen when people don't feel they have a voice.. it's their way of expressing their feelings. Urgh, i sure wish they could find a different way.

Bet David Cameron is a little tinsy bit worried about the Olympics now!!
