I had a therapy session last Thursday. The session went very well for me. She kept mentioning how depressed and tired I looked and my weight loss.I told her I had stopped taking my anti depressants cold turkey. I had been on maximum dose of citalopram and stopped taking them a week ago. I know its not the brightest thing to do but my doctor refused to change them or tell me how to wean myself off them. Now my therapist wants to see me twice a week instead of once even though I've told her I'm feeling better than I have been in a long time. Does this mean anything? Is she worried?

My guess is that she could be worried re the cold turkey from your medication and maybe she just wants to make sure that you have some support through this time. But unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question because everyone is different. Would you feel able to ask your therapist why she wants to see you twice weekly now? Did she mention anything as to her reasoning behind this change? :rose:
