Do you believe your dreams have a deeper meaning? Freud was hot on this and i agree that dreams symbolise things/feelings in our real life..
.. for example i once dreamt that i had a piece of glass stuck in my throat. I knew that i needed to get it out but i didn't know how to.. i knew it would have to come out very very carefully otherwise it would kill me on the way up.
I am sure this dream represents my "issues" and represents myself in therapy (i was in counselling at the time). I feel it was saying that there's some really 'deep' work i need to do, but i need to do it at my pace, slowly and with someone i trust otherwise it could be damaging.. but once complete it will be really beneficial as the glass will no longer be in me!
I've had variations of the dream since, including a mouse in my tummy, but they've always been similar.
So, have any dreams struck a chord with you? Do you believe in dreams' meanings being the unconscious mind at work? :)
