I've tried to keep the rules to a minimum and as the forum grows these may also develop so please check on these periodically.

Counselling Forum Guidelines

Keep the focus of this forum to peer to peer support - even though there may be trained or training counsellors active on the forum take any advice/feedback with a pinch of salt and use your own judgement
This forum is not a substitute for professional help.
Keep confidentiality in mind when posting on forum
If you arrange to meet a counsellor through this forum please verify the counsellor's credentials. See this thread Finding and Verifying a Counsellor] (http://www.hopeatsunrise.co.uk/showthread.php?p=13#post13) for more information.

What does "trolling" and "cybering" mean? Some of us out here are not too familiar with forum technospeak!
Forum is a great idea - thanks!

Ahh yes i should make that more clear - will update the FAQ to add the definitions :)

Cybering is like phone sex but over the internet trolling is a bit hard to describe! I would say it's like people who join the forum just to create problems.. posting all over the place with spam or encouraging self harm and things like that. Hopefully shouldn't happen here but you never know, and of course if it does i will get it deleted as soon as possible
