Hi, my name is free2be. I am a trainee counsellor / psychotherapist coming to the end of my third year in training. (BSc Person Centred Psychotherapy / Counselling) Studying at a place called Temenos.

Had this forum recommended to me, looking forward to exploring and meeting anyone who wants to engage in relational contact.

I'm glad that you found us and hope this proves a helpful place for you to meet fellow trainees, etc. Your course sounds really interesting - is it a 3 year course? If so does that mean you're coming to the end of your training?

Hi and thank you all for the warm welcome - appreciated!

Jenny, I will not have to attend Temenos after July (Been there three years), but next year I have a Dissertation to do and an oral exam to complete. The course has been absolutely fabulous! As have the tutors and other students I have met. Feeling quite sad about the course attendance coming to an end this July.

Wow good luck with the dissertation and the oral exam.. both sound incredibly scary to me lol. Do you have any ideas what you'll do the dissertation on? When i did my postgrad in psychology i did my dissertation on mental health attitudes between trainee and trained counsellors, and the 'general public'. It was interesting but such hard work (and my research was flawed from the outset so didn't show much lol). Good luck and i look forward to seeing you around :) xx
