A car has ploughed through a crowd of spectators who were watching a parade by the Dutch Royal Family.

Latest numbers: 7 people dead (including the driver of the car) and 8 still in hospital in critical condition.

When I first heard about what had happened (I was at work and heard it through a coworker who'd gotten a text about it), I thought it was just a bad joke. Until I got home and saw the news.
I've seen videos where you actually saw people flying through the air and it's horrible. It's just so shocking and.. I don't get how anyone could do that.
Supposedly it was an attack on the royal family, but if that's the case.. What on earth was this man thinking? Driving a Suzuki Swift into a huge bus, like that'd do anything! Now look what he's done.. 6 people who were just there to have a good time and watch the parade of the Royal Family, died.
And now he's dead too, leaving everyone behind, only able to guess what on earth drove this man to do this.
This angers as well as saddens me. What has happened to the world.. *sigh*
