I can't seem to find a simplified explanation of how this works.:shy: Can someone please explain what exactly the holistic counselling approach is?

Holistic approach...one that aims to work with the body and the mind (and maybe soul/spirit too) and sees them as one, a whole, holistic. Gestalt springs to mind as does MIndfulness Based Cogntive Therapy. I'm sure people will be able to think of others too
Holistic Counselling...could be just refering to the above and be used by someone to give an indication of how they work in a kind of general way. As to it being a specific 'stand alone' methodology as in 'I'm a qualified holistic counsellor' no not heard of that. Probaly much overused as an advertising gimmick.
