I think yes!
Where I live, none of the surrounding high schools have counsellors and I have always wondered why. It's necessary for teenagers to have someone to talk to and I believe if I'd had someone there I wouldn't have gotten as depressed as I did.
I'd like to hear your views :)

Yes, absolutely :) I've always been hesitant to see the school counselors about emotional issues, but whenever it was a school issue, they definitely helped me. In sixth grade, I was bullied a lot by this one girl (who I very much dislike, even to this day). We went to the school counselor about it, he talked to her, and we saw an improvement after that. Of course, that was then. I can almost guarantee that she'll say something again this year :dead:

I'm a bit divided about this, to be honest. But, I'll go with a yes.

Yes, although I have no idea where the money would come from.

yes, i see my school counsellor, and its really helpful, if i did not i would still be waiting to see someone as there is a 3 month waiting list in my area to see my local adolescent psyciatrist etc, so i think they are an excellnet idea, failing that have a certain teacher that is counsellor trained so can teach so much of a time table then certain days of the week or lessons, do counselling sessions. i dunno just my opinion.
