May the sun shine on you. May the crows/cows/sheep/other campers/sun not wake you up too early. May you not slide to one side/end of the tent if you are camped on a slope. May you not need the loo at 3 am. May your camping stove not run out of fuel half way through your tea.
I love camping...have a good 'un.

cadet camp, was, well.... AWESOME! what else can i use to describe it? though im definitely glad to be back home again, with a long, hot SHOWER!! (we were only allowed one shower the entire camp and it could only go for about three minutes). i mean, well, yeah, i had to get up at five in the morning, before reveille, because i needed to light the fire so the little cadetties wouldn't be all miserable because they had to get up at 5.30, lol! but it was GREAT fun!!!

You are to be praised. It seems you have far more patience, tolerance, care and compassion at 5 in the morning than I would have. As far as I am concerned there is only one 5 o'clock in the day and it comes in the afternoon! My little cadetties would have been lighting their own fires!!
One shower in a week does not sound good either!

ahhh see i didnt mention all the good bits, only the bad ones. the good bits far outweigh the bad.
and it's for a good reason i light the fire and not the cadets -- they always want to make the fire too big and so us sergeants get into trouble for it. better we do it for them.
