Cranberries concert tickets :)

Hello all,

I was so excited to hear that The Cranberries will be in Detroit in November. That is, until I saw ticket prices. $80..$100 is insane. So I'm asking, has anyone come across a ticket site that is somewhat cheaper? I saw some on ticketmaster.com for $40, but that was in Boston, not Detroit. I hope the ones for this concert are around the same price. It would be the greatest thing ever to see them in concert! :D

Oh!!!!!! I've just checked out their website and they're only playing in the USA.. how annoying is that!? :yikes:

I saw them in concert in Manchester and also in London.. loved both concerts.. was front row in both mainly because i queued up for hours lol. I know it's a lot of money but i say go for it! Totally worth it (in my opinion!!) :)

I have no knowledge about where t buy tickets but could you ask for them as an early christmas present and ask as many people as possible to chip in?

Jenny - I think the tour starts in the US, but is in Europe in early 2010. Dang, front row? That's incredible, I wish I could do that! Yet another reason why I wish I was older so I could do things myself.

Thanks for the help everyone, I'll let you know how it goes :) I was watching a video of one of their performances in Detroit in '96 when they were doing "Dreaming My Dreams". Dolores was so amazing, it brought tears to my eyes. That's one of my favorite Cranberries songs.

Just found out that ticket prices on ticketmaster.com are about $50 for a good seat in Baltimore, MD. I hope they're around the same price here. The concert is on a Tuesday, my parents said I could stay home from school that day and the next since we'd get back from Detroit around midnight. Awesome parents, right? :D Skipping school to go to concerts...only because they know how much I love The Crans and how long I've been waiting for them to tour. I just hope this works out. It seems like every time I want to go to something, it never happens. Wish me luck!
