Hi all,

Have not been here for a while and was wondering what it is that people actually find helpful in therapy. Can you think of something your therapist did or said that was helpful? It may be that what you found helpful was something to do with how your therapist was - he/she may have been particularly understanding for example.

If can think of something please log on to
www.surveymonkey.com/therapyquestV2 (http://www.surveymonkey.com/therapyquestV2)

You will find a short questionnaire asking you what you may have found helpful in therapy. The questionnaire is for a small piece of research which has been given ethical approval by the NHS and is completely anonymous (no IP addresses or email addresses are recorded).

Thanks

Sue

What is helpful for me... to have a therapist who isnt afraid of the darkness.
Mine, her own and others darkness.

What is helpful for me is to be allowed o speak my mind and still have the therapist genuinly accept me. I say genuinely because it can easily be superficial acceptance, which can [later on] lead to the break down of therapy
